If you install cameras
The signage
A compliant sign marks the filmed area, naming the controller. It is compulsory and checkable at a glance.
The retention period
Images are kept only as long as useful, and one month at most unless an investigation is under way. We set the automatic deletion at installation.
The declaration and the register
The system must be declared, and a register of processing activities must exist. We supply the template to fill in.
Frequently asked questions
No, not freely. A private camera must point at your own property. Filming the public road or the neighbour’s façade goes beyond what the law allows, and the footage then works against you.
