Who composes, where, with which materials, and in how long.
Two people, one nose, no marketing department
The house was born in 2019 out of a disagreement: we were asked for juices that please on the first try, when a perfume is judged on the tenth day. We have composed as a pair ever since, with a perfumer based in Grasse, and we assemble in Brussels.
Nothing is outsourced beyond making the glass. Maceration, bottling, engraving and shipping all happen here, which explains our short runs as much as our lead times.
From raw material to bottle

Choosing the materials
Two suppliers in Grasse, one in Tuscany for the iris. Every batch is smelled before purchase, and refused if it differs from the last.

The composition
Twelve to forty trials before a formula is settled. The exact number is written on each perfume’s page.

Six weeks of maceration
The juice rests in alcohol, away from light. That time is what removes the alcohol note of the first minutes.

Bottling
Filtering, filling and engraving by hand, in runs of a hundred. Every bottle carries its number and its assembly date.

What we get asked about the house
No, neither the raw materials nor the finished juices. Testing is done on volunteers, and European regulation has banned it anyway since 2013.
